Đại học Lamar, thường được gọi là Lamar hoặc LU, là một trường Đại học công lập ở Beaumont, Texas. Lamar là thành viên của Hệ thống Đại học Tiểu bang Texas từ năm 1995. Đây là tổ chức hàng đầu của Hệ thống Đại học Lamar trước đây. Trường được mang tên Mirabeau B. Lamar, vị Chủ tịch thứ hai cuả Cộng hòa Texas.

Lamar University, often referred to as Lamar or LU, is a public university in Beaumont, Texas.

Lamar University has been a member of the Texas State University System since 1995. It was the flagship institution of the former Lamar University System. Lamar University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The university is named for Mirabeau B. Lamar, the second president of the Republic of Texas.
